SUNDAY SERVICE 20TH SEPTEMBER 2015

GOD CARES

...I have  seen the afflictions of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters (and) oppressors; for I know their sorrows (and) sufferings (and) trials. And I have come to deliver them out... ( Amplified Exodus 3:7,8)

Challenges, troubles, tough times and trials are part of life. It comes in various forms, for instance:
 Health
 Finance
 Reproductive life
 Marriage
 Children Headiness
Death of loved one (s), etc.
As Christians we are, tough times come so hard on us that we cry  and groan, and we tend to ask if God knows, understands, and or cares what we go through. Many people in the Bible felt same way.
This morning, the message is so strong, so clear and very real; God knows, God understands, God cares, even in your life challenges.

HE KNEW AND CARED ABOUT THE ISRAELITES’ SUFFERING IN EGYPT
1. From His Covenant With Abraham (Genesis 15:13-16; Acts 7:6, 7), He knew and cared
215 years between the time God made His covenant with Abraham (Genesis 12:3)
430 years the time the Israelites (through Jacob) entered Egypt (Gal. 3:16, 17) through Moses. God knew and cared.

2. From His Covenant With Isaac (Genesis 26:2-4).

3. From The Affirmation of That Covenant With Jacob

 At Bethel ( Genesis 28:10-15

4. When Joseph was Conspired Against and Sold Into Slavery In Egypt (Gen. 37:18-36)

Accused by Mrs. Potiphar and imprisoned (Gen. 39:7-23)
Brought out up from prison and marched to the palace and made Prime Minister (Genesis 41)
When famine hitt the whole land, including Canaan, and his brethren came to buy food.(Gen. 42, 43).
When Jacob and his household left for Egypt. At Beersheba to enquire of God by Jacob (Gen. 46:1-4)). And subsequently when they reached Egypt (Gen. 46:5-47:1-31), and finally when he died (Gen.49:3), and Joseph also died  (Gen.50:25,26).

5. When The Pharaoh Which knew Not Joseph Rose to be King (Exodus 1:7-8).
He turned the Hebrews to slaves, and made their lives bitter. Exodus 1:10-14).
He ordered for the killing of their new born baby boys (Exodus 1:15, 17).
And Moses was born, made to sail on the water, picked up by the princess, given to the mother to be nursed,  brought back to the palace, murdered the Egyptian and ran to Median, and came back after ward.  I all of those, God knew and He cared.

6. When God  Declared That By Himself at the Burning Bush: (Exod. 2:23-25; 3:1-9)
